What is a feston

Feston is an aesthetic element used on both the facades of the houses and the walls of the rooms. Feston is the most common form of flowers, but can also represent fruits or leaves. Often it is also a ribbon. Festons can be painted but also plastic. Their origins date back to antiquity, where they were used as decorations of palaces and temples. In modern history, festons began to be used only with the advent of the Renaissance. In the Kingdom of Bohemia, they were captured at the end of the eighteenth century.
