What is the acoustic ceiling

The acoustic ceiling serves to mitigate the noise that may come from neighbors living above you. It is widely used mainly in apartment blocks. Sound insulation can be provided in two traditional ways - stepped insulation or acoustic panels. To install the insulation it is necessary to negotiate with the neighbor as it is placed in the floor.

Without the neighbor's contribution, acoustic plates can be used, which are installed directly on the ceiling and do not only act as acoustic insulation but also as thermal insulation. Both variants are approximately equally effective, although the mounting of the boards is worse than installing impact insulation.
